Black Orbit

About this work

A dense black circle anchors a field of soft beige and grey, while fine looping lines and muted rectangular forms move around it. The contrast between the dark focal point and pale surrounding space gives the piece a strong but restrained presence in a modern living room or study. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic and oil - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
