Blue Cascade

About this work

A vivid blue field rises beneath an irregular band of gold leaf, with scattered gold forms falling through the upper surface. The vertical format and strong colour contrast make it well suited to an entrance, stair landing, or formal sitting room. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
