Ember Divide

About this work

Deep charcoal and black dominate the canvas, opening into a broad field of burnt red and orange with scattered warm metallic accents through the centre. The dense layered brushwork gives the piece weight and movement, well suited to a formal living room, entrance, or study with darker finishes. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
