Gilded Cascade

About this work

Large passages of gold leaf break across a pale grey and white field, with darker vertical marks running through the centre and edges. The metallic areas catch changing light while the soft background keeps the composition balanced, ideal for a formal living room or entrance. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
