Gilded Current

About this work

Textured bands of forest green, taupe, cream, and metallic gold move horizontally across a bright ground, forming a broad abstract landscape of layered paint. The raised surfaces and reflective gold detailing give the piece depth and suit a generous wall above a sofa or sideboard. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
