Gilded Divide

About this work

A dark charcoal field meets a pale lower section through a dense, irregular band of gold leaf that falls in long textured drips. The strong horizontal division gives the piece a composed presence for a living room, dining area, or formal office. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
