Gilded Drift

About this work

A dark charcoal lower field meets a pale grey upper section through a dense band of white, silver-grey, and gold leaf fragments that scatter upward across the canvas. The contrast gives the composition a polished, graphic character that works especially well above a console or long seating area. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
