Gilded Motion

About this work

Sweeping black, grey, brown, rust, and warm ochre brushwork moves diagonally across a pale ground, punctuated by raised areas of metallic gold. The loose marks and layered texture give the composition energy while keeping the palette grounded for a modern entrance, lounge, or study. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
