Gilded Ruins

About this work

Grey and charcoal blocks form an abstract architectural field, crossed by irregular metallic gold passages and textured fragments. The dark mineral palette and gold leaf detailing give the painting depth for a formal living room, dining area, or large office. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
