Gilded Stone

About this work

Dense grey and white texture covers the canvas beneath irregular fields of gold leaf that spread across the centre and right side. The contrast between the rough neutral surface and metallic areas gives the piece depth and material presence, ideal for a formal entrance or modern living room. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
