Golden Axis

About this work

Textured grey, taupe, and off-white fields are crossed by bold vertical and horizontal passages of metallic gold. The layered surface and asymmetrical structure give the painting depth while keeping the palette restrained, making it well suited to a reception room or spacious entrance. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
