Layered brushwork in white, pale grey, and charcoal is broken by irregular metallic gold areas scattered through the centre and upper surface. The compact square format combines weight and light, making it suitable above a console, beside a reading chair, or within a modern gallery wall. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher.
